Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,800 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries, and more than 69 Local Networks.
As part of our commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices, good chain has embedded the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact into strategies and operations, and committed to respecting human and labour rights, safeguarding the environment, and working against corruption in all its forms.
We are committed to a CSR policy and we wish to intensify and illustrate by concrete actions on a daily basis. Since June 2022, good chain has been tracking 100% of its electricity usage. As part of its journey with EcoVadis, good chain even took further with its sustainability commitments by tracking 100% of its wastage and progressively rolled out strict ethical and anti-corruption policies within the company.
In June 2022, good chain was awarded a Bronze medal. This year, we aim to achieve Silver at minimum or hopefully Gold.
